Nicole and Michael

Nicole and Michael wanted a European-style wedding without leaving the country. They envisioned something intimate and intentional—focused on people, food, music, and atmosphere rather than a massive guest list.

Nicole found a stunning vineyard deep in the Quebec countryside near the US border, featuring one of the most beautiful chateaus I've ever seen. The French styling, vineyard views, and elegant atmosphere were exactly what she wanted.

What made this special was that it felt like a destination wedding without actually being one. Guests drove in from Toronto and Ottawa to spend a weekend in Quebec celebrating with Nicole and Michael.

They kept their guest list tight—only their closest people. Family, immediate friends, siblings, and their adorable dog Chico. No random acquaintances. Just the people who mattered most.

Every detail was intentional, including Nicole's photography vision. She wanted candid, timeless, refined photos with that editorial look you'd find on the cover of a high-end bridal magazine. Motion blur, black and whites, hard flash, creative angles, unique compositions, and artistic flat lays. It was really important to her, and that's exactly what we delivered. She loved her photos, and it was awesome to push boundaries and turn her vision into reality.

We flew from Vancouver to Montreal and drove two hours to the venue. It exceeded expectations—one of the most beautiful wineries we've photographed and one of the best wedding experiences we've had.

Nicole and Michael wanted quality photos but didn't want to spend hours away from their guests. We had about an hour for portraits, and they were game for everything—walking through vineyards, posing in open fields, climbing stone walls.

Their connection was undeniable. Their mantra of "twin flames" perfectly captured how they are together—constantly making each other laugh and smile. Photographing them was effortless because their love was so genuine.

The reception blended Portuguese and Italian influences beautifully. The dancing, music, and energy were electric. Everyone was on the dance floor. The weather was perfect, so guests spilled outdoors to enjoy the grounds.

The whole experience felt like photographing a wedding in France or Italy when we were really just a short drive from Montreal.
